After examining and researching the terrible incident at the Mount Carmel Center that led to the death of more than 70 people, three main theories have remained: 

1. Was the fire started by the Davidians themselves? 

2. Did the fire start because of the live rounds and CS gas?  

3. Was the fire started by the ATF? 

Although the true cause of this tragedy is still debated today, it is more likely that the deadly fire was started by the Branch Davidians, rather than the ATF.
